Carlsbad RV Park and Campground

Carlsbad RV Park and Campground

Aside from primitive camping in White City, this is the closest campground to the National Parks, which is why we chose to stay here. Located right off of National Parks Highway it is very easy to access and a straight shot to enjoy the parks. The park is relatively cheap at 37$/night for full hookups.

The Park offers a lot of amenities, some of which include: indoor heated pool, arcade and game room, on site store, playground, horseshoe pits, exercise room, couple dog parks, and free Wi-Fi.  We had full hookups and everything worked with no issues.

Some negatives of this park we found are: its a bit dated and could use a little freshening up, some highway noise, our site was back to back with another rv and offered very little privacy, Wi-Fi was pretty spotty.

All in all this spot worked well for what we needed it for which was an affordable stay with hookups and easy access to the park.  Not the most beautiful park but has some good amenities and the staff was friendly, would stay again if we were ever to pass through.

  • highway noise
  • a little older
  • sites back to back
